At D&M Building Services, we work with an established network of trusted trades and specialist contractors across the East Midlands.
We select and vet the people working on our projects, coordinate their work, manage the programme and monitor quality – so our clients don’t have to source and manage multiple contractors themselves.
From electricians, plumbers and heating engineers to joiners, roofers, plasterers, bricklayers and other specialist contractors, each trade is brought into the project when required and managed as part of the wider construction programme.

Finding individual trades is relatively easy. Finding reliable contractors, checking them, coordinating availability and making sure one trade’s work is ready for the next is where construction projects can become difficult.
D&M takes responsibility for that coordination.
Our trade and specialist contractor network is selected and vetted by us, with relevant competence, insurance, qualifications and accreditations checked where applicable.

Roofing
From structural roofing and new roof installations to flat roofing, repairs and associated works, roofing is delivered by experienced contractors within our trusted network.
Where roofing forms part of a larger D&M project, we coordinate it with structural works, windows, external finishes and subsequent trades to keep the overall programme moving.
Plumbing & Heating
Plumbing and heating works are coordinated throughout the construction programme, from first-fix pipework and underfloor heating through to bathrooms, kitchens, sanitaryware and final commissioning.
We manage the relationship between plumbing, electrical, joinery, plastering and finishing trades so clients aren’t left coordinating dependencies themselves.
Electrical
Electrical works are planned alongside the wider construction programme, including first and second fix, lighting, power, heating controls and testing.
D&M coordinates electrical contractors with the other trades working on the project and manages the works through to completion and certification.
Joinery & Carpentry
From structural carpentry and first-fix works through to doors, skirting, architraves and final finishes, joinery is coordinated around the wider build programme.
This ensures work is completed in the correct sequence and ready for following trades.
Plastering
Boarding, skimming and specialist finishes coordinated around first-fix services, joinery and subsequent decoration to keep the project moving through the finishing stages.
Brickwork & Masonry
Structural and architectural brickwork, extensions, alterations, repairs and masonry delivered by experienced trades and coordinated with the wider project programme.
A Wider Specialist Network
Depending on the project, we also coordinate specialist contractors and suppliers across groundworks, steelwork, glazing, flooring, decorating, landscaping and other project-specific packages.
